Musical Interlude Two

by Dennis M. Myers, 02/15/2020

I've written before about my love of the Japanese rock group Band-Maid. If you haven't read it, I'l put a link below. To summarize, these ladies have become my favorite active band and they inspire me to work harder to be published.

Their latest video is a song from their most recent album, Conqueror. It's called The Dragon Cries. I first heard about it when they announced that Tony Visconti was going to produce the vocals. He produced music for people like David Bowie, so it's a pretty big deal in the music industry.

The song itself is a sad one, lamenting the loss of love. The video takes it to a whole new level, with stark images that really hit the soul. Overall I love this one, and that's why I am adding this one to my blog. It's not only in English, it has subtitles. I hope you enjoy it. Even if you don't, this is a window into what sort of music I enjoy.
